Sophie Ries is an illustrator, designer, and Orthodox Christian living in the Midwest. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018 with a BFA in illustration, and has worked professionally in both licensing and publishing. Sophie works mainly in cut paper collage, colored pencil, and digital media, and is heavily influenced by her Orthodox Faith. Aside from making art, Sophie loves to search for oddities in antique stores, cook something new, or watch movies with her husband.
